Jeff Bridges Memorial Scholarship
In May 2021, the South Florida Winter Guard Association lost longtime board member, judge, clinician, and wise-man Jeff Bridges. His impact on marching bands, drum corps, and winter ensembles around the country is immeasurable. As one of our Hall of Fame Members, we know that the activity in South Florida would not be the same if it weren't for his decades of contributions and support to our community.
This scholarship fund is dedicated to support those members of the SFWGA that are also planning to march in drum corps for 2023 summer.
Please consider making a one-time contribution.
Registration closes on March 25, 2023.
The Cookout Scholarship
In Celebrating years of dedication and service to WGI as Black and Brown people, The Cookout gives people of color whose roles as designers, choreographers, directors, technicians, volunteers and judges a safe space to come together and highlight achievements and celebrate that we are still creating, educating and inspiring the next generation of Colorguard.
The Cookout 23 is looking for young color guard performers of color to receive aid for their next school year. They even have a scholarship for a performer of color over age 25! Fill out all sections and remember to include a link to your introduction video.
Registration closes March 17, 2023.
