Jeff Bridges Memorial Scholarship
In May 2021, the South Florida Winter Guard Association lost longtime board member, judge, clinician, and wise-man Jeff Bridges. His impact on marching bands, drum corps, and winter ensembles around the country is immeasurable. As one of our Hall of Fame Members, we know that the activity in South Florida would not be the same if it weren't for his decades of contributions and support to our community.
This scholarship fund is dedicated to support those members of the SFWGA that are also planning to march in drum corps. For the 2022-2023 season, the scholarship will be funded in three ways:
Proceeds from a 50/50 raffle at Circuit Championships on April 8th,
One-time donations made specifically in name of this scholarship throughout the season, and
Matching donation sponsorship up to $2,000 for the season
Please consider making a one-time contribution.
The South Florida Winter Guard Association is chartered by the State of Florida as a non-profit corporation, and approved by the IRS as a 501(c)3 public charity. Our organization is funded by performing unit member fees, ticket and merchandise sales, and donations received throughout the year.
Every donation received helps us do more for our community and helps manage costs charged to participants and spectators. CLICK HERE TO DONATE
